The video has English on-screen titles and music, without narration. A readable summary follows.

What happens in the demo

  1. 00:00–00:03

    Open the media toolkit

The actual features panel brings video, audio, and image tools together.

  2. 00:03–00:10

    Convert MOV to MP4

See the MP4 output from this MOV conversion. The conversion re-encodes the media; it does not just change the file extension.

  3. 00:10–00:16

Crop to the aspect ratio you need

Switch between square and portrait framing in the actual crop preview, adjusting the area to keep.

  4. 00:16–00:21

    Compare this compression result

See the compression panel and real output: this 18-second sample goes from 23.0 MB to 3.7 MB.

  5. 00:21–00:24

Find the outputs and keep the original

Conversion, cropping, and compression each produce a separate file. The original MOV is preserved.

  6. 00:24–00:28

What these compression numbers mean

The 23.0 MB → 3.7 MB result comes from the same 18-second demo sample: 23,042,270 bytes in the source and 3,702,069 bytes in the compressed output. These are decimal megabytes, rounded to one decimal place.

This is a measured example, not a promised result for every file. Source encoding, visual complexity, and the selected preset affect size and quality. Compression re-encodes the video and is not lossless. Keep the original and compare detail, sound, and duration in the output.
